Iranian dried figs is a unique variety of figs in the world because of its color and size. Iranian figs come from Estahban valley that located in the center of Iran. Estahban valley known as the greatest land in the world for producing dried figs by FAO. Fig thrive in Estahban hot day summer sun without any irrigation. No chemical materials and hormones are used in growing this product, Consequently, the figs are organic and natural production.
Iranian Dried figs are classified into two main groups, open mouth (101) and closed mouth and each type can be subdivided into two to three types again.
Closed Mouth Dried Figs – Grade AA: This type is well known to half open mouth not 100% closed mouth (about 22mm or upper)
